Do you feel like you have no time to book a class or manage a quick sweat at home? Well, this was me a few months ago. I struggled to find time within my nonstop schedule. When I was able to take an AM class it was booked, when I was open in the afternoon there were no afternoon classes at the local studios and in the evening hours I work retail. So how did I manage to pull this off?
1. I created a small workout space in my basement. I placed a hook into the ceiling beam to attach my TRX suspension trainer, bought 6 full body mirrors from Walmart and purchased some fitness mats from Marshalls. So affordable! I also have some of my favorite fitness accessories in the space: a lululemon yoga mat, resistance bands, some light weights and a Bluetooth speaker to jam out!
2. Every Sunday evening I log into my MindBody App and review the daily classes at the local studios. I then compare my work schedule to the classes available and see which ones I available to sign up for. Days that I cannot pull off a class time, I sign up for a virtual class or create my own workout for the day. By creating a schedule in the beginning of the week you will set yourself up for success.
3. After I have created my schedule I then update my Calendar App and fill in the weekly planner that I purchased at Marshalls. Double the reminders, the better!
4. Lastly I send out a group message to see if any friends would want to join in on a sweat. Also a great feeling to have an accountability buddy to ensure you get out of bed for those early AM classes!
