The Ultimate Protein Waffles.



So my protein waffles were a success.. and now everyone needs the recipe. They can easily be vegan and dairy free as well as Whole 30 approved. Mine were not Whole 30 approved due to the butter having soy within the ingredients.


Below I will share the quick recipe on how to make. Also, on my Instagram I have provided a quick reel of the extremely easy process! The mini dash waffle maker I purchased at the local home goods!



PROTEIN WAFFLES - [USING THE MINI DASH WAFFLE MAKER]


INGREDIENTS:

(This will make 3 waffles)

- 1 Egg

- 2 tbsp water

- 2 tbsp oil (I used avocado oil)

- 1/2 cup Purely Elizabeth Protein Grain-Free Pancake + Waffle Mix


TOPPINGS:

- 1 Banana

- Trader Joes 100% Completely Cacao Chips

- Cinnamon

- Earth Balance Original Butter


RECIPE:

  1. If you have the dash mini waffle maker, go ahead and plug that in to heat up.

  2. Grab a bowl and mix the egg, water, oil of choice, and waffle mix.

  3. Gently pour the waffle mix into the maker, 1 at a time.

  4. As you're cooking your waffles, you can get together your toppings.

  5. Once all 3 waffles are cooked, go ahead and add toppings. (Add any additional toppings you'd like!)


This recipe can also be made as pancakes on the stove! Substitute 1 tbsp of water instead of 2.
